Blythwood Theatre was founded by award-winning actor Marilyn Blyth-Wilson to help make theatre and drama classes more accessible, and to help nurture the talent of
the next generation of performers.
Blythwood Theatre is a social enterprise, devoted to making a difference and allowing new and sometimes excluded voices to be heard.

About Marilyn
Marilyn is a professional actor, director, and teacher with a range of film and stage credits and over 15 years’ industry experience as a professional performer.
Her professional qualifications include an MA in Education in Learning and Teaching the Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA (Hons) in Dance and Drama from Kingston University.
Marilyn has extensive experience of working with children and young people of all ages, and has taught drama in a number of primary, secondary, and special needs schools.

She also teaches and directs physical theatre and is committed to ensuring that
everyone can access physical theatre training.
